Ok, what is Dreams To Keep all about as
"image makers"?
Well, many different styles and types of
photography for certain.
Perhaps the whimsical, simply to tell stories (this one was called
"Froggy's First Day at School")
Below is the same pencil, different creature!! We also
photograph the
difficult to capture here at Dreams To Keep Photography.
(She was running up and down that pencil as I tried to
stay at least one turn of the pencil ahead of her! Suddenly she
stopped and looked right at me! I took the photograph and then quickly
sent
her back out into the garden to her web.)
Let's move past this one quickly and on to the next photograph!
Here's an object much less scary than the one hanging onto the pencil,
it's
an automotive electrical connector, part of the main electrical harness
of the vehicle - basically the nervous system of a car or truck. This
one
is less than a third of the size of a deck of cards. This falls under the
category of "Small Product Photography".
The samples above with the critters posing with the pencil and
the
electrical connector are examples of Macro Photography -
magnified and very close up with a good capture of detail.

The following is the opposite method of image capture, called
Wide Angle Photography and is used for photographing buildings, large machinery,
streets and subdivisions, etc.
But I also photograph portraits, especially people who have
a sense of style they wish to capture and convey.
Executive/ Employee portraits and ID photos to name a few.

There is also the sensitive and gentle to be photographed -
keepsakes of
moments in time.. moments that will not occur again. Be it the tiny toes
of
a baby in the first few weeks of their lives....or be it the bittersweet
images of
days gone by too swiftly in a life shortened by devastating illness.
Dreams To Keep Photography is now a member of
the American Child Photographers Charity Guild (ACPCG).
The ACPCG is a non-profit, volunteer based organization of
photographers
from all over the country who have come together to form a guild
dedicated to children in need and their families. Please see this link for

Dreams To Keep photography and Glen Sparks were on
a hiatus from web based work and this website was inactive
from Oct 2002 to Mar 2005. A new direction of work has been taken, with
an emphasis and concentration on Commercial and Product photography.
